Dedicated to the memory of Cuth

This site is a tribute to Cuth who passed away at home on 18th January aged 98 years. Beloved Husband of May and devoted Uncle, Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle. Cuth will be much missed by all his family and many friends.

The funeral service took place at the Forest of Dean Crematorium on Tuesday 14th February with Mr David Wildin officiating. On entry to the crematorium chapel, a recording of ‘You raise me up’ by The Treorchy Male Voice Choir was played. An extract from ‘No matter what’ by Debi Gliori was read by Martha Fraser and Ruby Williams. The hymn was ‘Jerusalem’ and John Bradley read ‘A life well lived, Memories of Uncle Cuth.’ The poem ‘Feel no guilt in laughter’ chosen by Rachal Simpson was read, as was ‘Remember me’ which was chosen by Debbie Deeley. The recessional music was a recording of ‘Gabriel’s’ Oboe’ by Chloe Agnew.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Gloucestershire, who are collecting donations for Williams Syndrome Foundation which would be sincerely appreciated. These may be given online or sent to: Ernest Heal & Sons Independent Family Funeral Directors, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Coleford, GL16 7BH (Please make cheques payable to Ernest Heal Donations Account).
